Zeus: Official Rejection SXSW 2012; There’s Always Kickstarter
Well, Zeus officially didn’t make it into SXSW this year. We knew it was a tough festival to break into with some huge films premiering.
What we are doing with Zeus though is running a kick ass Kickstarter campaign. As of today, there are only 12 days left for us to meet our goal. Get every person you know to donate $1. Back to SXSW, the new Duplass Bros. movie The Do-Deca-Pentathalon is premiering this year. Here’s the premise:
“Two brothers compete in their own private 25-event Olympics.”
Sound vaguely familiar? Welp, there’s always next film… But seriously, no hard feelings. This just motivates me to make a better film that SXSW will beg me to play at their festival next time.
